Dr. Kuntal Pal and his students working with Esco Class II Biological Safety Cabinet
An Airstream® Class II Biological Safety Cabinet and CelMate® CO2 Incubator were installed at the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology. According to Dr. Kuntal Pal, Associate Professor, they chose Esco Lifesciences equipment because of its good reputation and excellent quality. He also highlighted that both products were constructed from durable materials and were easy to maintain. They were completely satisfied with the overall performance and hassle-free servicing.
BSC demonstration after installation
The Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), a non-profit organization set up by the Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India, aims to address product developments by means of strategic research and innovation. BIRAC launched an E-YUVA Center at Adamas University which provides a laboratory set-up for basic research and experimentation. Given the exceptional recommendation of Dr. Pal and his post-doctorate students, another set of BSC and CO2 incubator was installed. Faculty and students were pleased with the decontamination feature of the CO2 incubator and the well-designed airflow system of the BSC.
