Esco Malaysia's Highlight Moment at the Hospital Aseptic Dispensing Congress 2024
Esco Malaysia was proud to participate in Hospital Aseptic Dispensing Congress 2024, held from May 17 to 19 at the University Malaya Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event, organized by University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), brought together pharmacy officers and allied health professionals to explore the latest advancements in aseptic dispensing and medication technologies.
A key highlight of Esco Malaysia's participation was the insightful presentation by our colleague, Dr. Tan Swee Ching. Dr. Tan delivered an engaging talk on the “Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs in Healthcare Settings”, addressing the critical importance of safety protocols and advanced technologies in minimizing risks associated with hazardous drug exposure. Her insights and presentation resonated with attendees, emphasizing the significance of proper equipment and procedures for healthcare worker safety, including compliance with standards such as USP 795, 797, 800, and 825, with a particular focus on standards 797 and 800.
