Esco Technologies Pty. Ltd and Basan South Africa Host Student Training

Esco Technologies Pty. Ltd and Basan South Africa hosted a training course last October for the graduating students of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

BSC Training and Demonstration

The training was held at the facilities of Esco Technologies in Midrand, South Africa. Participants attended a half-day session covering the following topics:

• Safe use of hazardous drugs in a healthcare setting
• Particle counts and certification of cleanrooms
• Cleanroom maintenance: cleaning and sanitization, gowning principles, and good practices.

Students got a first-hand experience with the equipment and were introduced to several principles in practice during their visit to Esco’s cleanroom. It was an interactive encounter between the trainers and participants. Certificates of attendance were also issued after the session.
