Esco Thailand Participates in Multiple Local Events

Before the year 2022 ended, Esco Lifesciences (Thailand) took part in several events and a workshop locally from November through December. Take a closer look at the following events aimed at the scientific community and raising biosafety awareness among future laboratory professionals.

Esco Lifesciences joined the 17^th International Symposium of The Protein Society of Thailand (PST2022) last November 9–11, 2022, at the Khum Kham International Convention Centre, Chiang Mai where Esco Lifesciences displayed its top-of-the-line products and introduced the outstanding services it offers to the participants.

With the theme of "Connecting the Dots," the 17^th International Symposium of The Protein Society of Thailand (PST2022) was hosted by Chiang Mai University in cooperation with other organizations in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Over 400 experts in protein and related fields attended, and more than 40 specialists from around the world were invited to speak.

The 3^rd “Fundamental Biosafety for BSL-2”

On November 28–30, 2022, Esco Lifesciences Thailand joined the 3^rd Fundamental Biosafety for BSL-2 (English program) workshop activity hosted by the Faculty of Science of Mahidol University. The event's purpose was to advance knowledge and skills in conducting safe research in biological laboratories according to international standards, share research experiences, and jointly come up with safe management practices for biological laboratories.

For this event on Biosafety Cabinet Workshop stations, Mahidol University invited Esco Thailand's product specialists as speakers to raise biosafety awareness in relation to biological safety cabinets. Esco Thailand took this chance to introduce Esco’s newest product, the Esco Labculture® Gen 4 Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet (S-Series).

Almost 200 participants attended, and among them were biosafety management officers (BSO), master's degree students, professors, researchers, laboratory staff, and medical personnel from various agencies that work with pathogens or animal toxins.

QSMI Centenary Conference

Esco Lifesciences Thailand took part in the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (QSMI) Centenary Conference from December 1–2, 2022, in Montien Surawong, Bangkok, Thailand, to commemorate the 100^th anniversary of the Thai Red Cross Society.

The Thai Red Cross Society is a national charity working for humanitarian causes according to the principles of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). It is a dynamic and innovative organization with a vision to move forward towards excellence and in line with the Thai Red Cross Society's vision of alleviating suffering, nourishing happiness, curing disease, and eliminating danger for the benefit and happiness of the population.

The Thai Red Cross Society's primary missions are to supply clinical services in immunization, diagnosis, and diagnosis of rabies, educate people about venomous snakes and snake venom, conduct scientific research in medicine and public health, and produce orphan drugs and various biological products in sufficient quantities to meet the needs of the population.
